We have been in business at our Blackrock location since 1993. The business was established by brothers Alec and Norman Ludgate; Alec has since retired and Norman now runs the business.

We have always offered a range of quality items at affordable prices, and we will continue to do so. We are proud of the quality and friendliness of our customer service. We have a very loyal customer base and we count many of our regular customers as friends.

We have seen big changes in areas of popular taste from the stripped pine furniture boom of the 90s through the heady days of the noughties to the current interest in mid-century and vintage items…that’s what makes our business so interesting and challenging!  We survived the difficulties of the economic crash of 2008 and we are now looking forward to 'bouncing back' after the Covid-19 restrictions of the past year.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic we sold at a  number of antique and vintage fairs around Ireland and we were frequent sellers at the Dublin Flea Market, including the highly successful Christmas Flea Market.  These events gave us opportunities to meet new customers; we have missed these experiences and look forward to their return with the reopening of activities post pandemic.

With almost thirty years of business behind us we have built a trusted reputation second to none. We are always interested in customer feedback.
